Speaker Bio:
Kerri Burchill, PhD

Dr. Kerri Burchill, PhD, serves as President of North Star Coaching, her independent consulting company that focuses on helping leaders slow down to go fast. In addition to individual and team coaching, Kerri’s work includes keynote speaking, designing and implementing leadership development programs, facilitating difficult conversations, increasing accountability through team building activities, and consulting on organizational initiatives.
Almost 20 years ago Kerri and her partner felt that their life was a bit too comfortable, so they positioned themselves to stretch. Despite being short-tracked in her career, they made some decisions that resulted in Kerri working in three countries, six cities, and nine different leadership roles over a nine-year period.
In all of these opportunities, Kerri observed leaders spinning and fighting fires all day, rarely getting to their leadership work. These observations fueled her academic research, peer-reviewed publications and her recently published book, Leading out of the ASKhole® Trap. Kerri has earned her ICF MCC coaching certificate, a rigorous demonstration of skills including over 2,500 of paid coaching hours.
Today, Kerri lives in San Antonio with the best decision of her life and a very spoiled dog. (www.kerriburchill.com).
