ICF San Antonio members are invited to participate in a new pro-bono coaching community service opportunity to support at-risk high school students at Roosevelt High School. Spiraling Up Your Strengths is the strengths-based curriculum that will be used for both group and 1:1 coaching with students.

Volunteers are asked to attend a 90-minute training to go over a brief Communities in Schools orientation plus the Spiraling Up Your Strengths curriculum, the CliftonStrengths Assessment, and coaching best-practices when working with at-risk teens.

This new pro-bono coaching opportunity is made possible thanks to a partnership between Communities in Schools, Friends of Communities in Schools San Antonio, and ICF San Antonio.

Facilitators:

  • Soonalyn Jacobs, ICF San Antonio member and author of the Spiraling Up Your Strengths curriculum
  • Ilsa Serna, Communities in Schools Community Engagement Coordinator
