Inherently, we all have biases which can be either explicit (conscious) or implicit (unconscious). Managing inherent biases requires a consistent focus on self-management to recognize biases and keep them from negatively influencing words and actions. Through awareness and intentional actions, we can help create diverse and inclusive workplace cultures of belonging.

About the Speaker:

Kelley Johnson is Founder and CEO of KJE Consulting & Coaching, a Dallas-based firm with national and global reach. For nearly five years, she and her team have provided strategic diversity, inclusion, leadership coaching and talent management solutions to clients across a number of industry sectors.

Kelley is a collaborative and intuitive professional known for strategic thought leadership, driving results, and developing next-level practices to align solutions with business priorities across broad-based industries and sectors. Previously the Head of Diversity and Emerging Talent at JCPenney, Kelley was instrumental in linking business innovation with Inclusion and Diversity strategy.  She is a Hogan-certified executive coach and graduate of Texas Woman’s University, and has held strategic advisory roles with several non-profit and public organizations.
